Our Vision

Acts Vision Statement

A community of believers united (Matt 22:39) to know God (Matt. 22:37-38) and to make Him known (Matt. 28:19-20).

As a church, we only have one foundation to stand upon – that is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Upon that foundation, we have three pillars: the Great Commandment, the Great Commission, and the Great Community.

GREAT COMMANDMENT

stems from Matthew 22:37-38 which is to love our Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind. This is the primary objective of the church and every believer. We exist for God’s glory and for His pleasure. This is also referred to as the “first and the greatest commandment.”

GREAT COMMISSION

stems from Matthew 28:19-20 which is a command given by Jesus to His followers. It is to make disciples of all nations. This occurs as we participate in missions both here and there. It’s about making Jesus known all around us wherever we are and wherever we go.

GREAT COMMUNITY

stems from Matthew 22:39 which is the second greatest commandment given to the followers of Jesus Christ. It is to love our neighbor as ourselves. Jesus told his followers that the world would know who belonged to Him by the way we love one another. We seek to be a community of believers that really does life deeply together.
