Uploading Acts Photos
Acts digital camera users, unite!
If you've got pictures from a recent Acts event,
we want them!
To help us add to our ever-popular
photoalbums section, simply follow these steps to send us your pictures:
Please,
NO VIDEOS - PICTURES ONLY.
- Open up Internet Explorer (or a "My Computer" window - this will not work with Mozilla Firefox or any other web browser)
- From Internet Explorer, click the following link: ftp://photobank:actsoflove@www.actsaustin.org/
(or paste that address into the address bar in IE)
- This will open up a window to a special location on the Acts server, where you can drop off your Acts event photos!
Create a new folder in the window (you can do this by right-clicking with your mouse, and selecting "New" -> "Folder"), and rename this folder with your name, or the name of the Acts event.
- Drag and drop your Acts event pictures into your folder. Depending on the size of the pictures and the speed of your internet connection, this might take a few minutes (or more).

Please be courteous and limit the number of pictures in each folder to 50 or less. If you have more than 50 pictures of an event, please try to pick out a few favorites and transfer those to us.
- Once the pix have been transferred, send us a note so that we can check for your pictures: e-mail the Web Team!
Rest assured, TeamWeb will screen your pictures before posting them, so if you accidentally send us some pics that are embarrasing
(or inappropriate, in whatever way), we'll be sure to leave them out ^_^.
For those that are a bit more web-savvy, you can FTP your pics to us by using the following information to connect to our server:
- Hostname: www.actsaustin.org
- Username: photobank
- Password: actsoflove
- Make a new folder and rename it as your name
- Drag and drop your pictures into your folder
- E-mail the The Web Team
